Stop It® Pipe Repair System

The Stop It® Pipe Repair System repairs cracks and leaks in Carbon steel, stainless, aluminum, copper, galvanized; PVC, CPVC, PVDF, polyethylene, polypropylene and fiberglass pipes, to name a few. Stop It® Pipe Repair Tape is a knitted, fiberglass tape coated with special urethane resins that are water-activated. It is ideal for pipe leak repairs and reinforcing pipe joints in any situation - even under water! This in-field repair system can be quickly applied - one man, no tools, no hot work and it fully cures to a hard, durable repair in 30 minutes. Available in the standard pack or the new money saving bulk pack.

Stop It® Pipe Repair Clamp

We provide a complete line of fundamental repair, connecting, and branching products. We also offer progressive engineered fittings for applications requiring special consideration. Some of these include lines that cannot be shutdown, large diameters and outlets, high or severely fluctuating pressures, exceptional line content, non-standard pipe sizes or contours, and other unusual parameters that require particular attention.

Unique among these products are the STOP IT® Pipe Repair Clamp and our line of Stainless steel patch clamps. The STOP IT® Pipe Repair Clamp conforms to most irregular surfaces and controls most pressures with simple hand-tightening. It easily adjusts to fit common diameter pipe and it's facing has exceptional chemical resistance.

Our expanded PTFE lined stainless steel patch clamps provide unsurpassed chemical resistance and a temperature range from -450°F to +650°F.

StopIt HP™

High Pressure Leak Sealant Technology

Stop It HP™ is a leak sealant product designed for applications with working pressures up to 2000 psi.

The introduction of StopIt HP™ allows leak-sealing procedures to be extended to significantly higher pressures than with the original StopIt® formulation or other competing products. Laboratory testing has demonstrated an excellent degree of reproducibility as well as a significant margin of safety with respect to the upper pressure limit.

Stop It HP™ application entails mixing of a pre-measured two-part sealant, wetting of a fibrous reinforcement tape, and wrapping of the tape on to the pipe surface. Applications can be made regardless of pipe orientation and result in a durable coating approximately 5 mm in thickness with superior pressure sealing capabilities.

Stop It HP™ surface preparation consists of removing any loose scale and any lubricants or greases. The system should be relieved of all pressure until the product is fully applied and cured. Application surfaces should be dried prior to application and warmed if the pipe surface is less than 50° F or cooled if greater than 100° F

Stop It HP™ is a multi-component system and as such requires assembly. Following preparation of the area to be treated, the mixing of the sealant requires only seconds and may be immediately applied to the reinforcement tape. The wetted tape possesses a working time of approximately 8-10 minutes. The exact application time will depend on the specific conditions under which StopIt HP™ is being applied.

Stop It HP™ will exhibit maximum pressure performance when allowed to cure as a complete application for a time period of 24 hours. Operations may be resumed in as little as 4 hours following the completed application, however with less certainty of highest attainable performance. Laboratory testing reflected failure pressures in excess of 5000 psi for more than 90% of samples tested. Test samples entailed 4 plies of the reinforcement tape/sealant composite being applied over 1/8" holes. Applications under field conditions are anticipated to yield variable results due to the nature of the leak site and surface preparation.

The First Response™ Leak Repair Kit provides everything in one box for maintenance and safety teams to quickly respond to most common leaks, cracks, and gashes in pipes, tanks, and drums.

Each kit includes a small, medium, and large size of the STOP IT® Pipe Repair System, five Fix Stix™ Epoxy, eighteen assorted wooden plugs, rubber hammer, two Plug-N-Dike® Plug Rugs, three Plug Patties, lead wool filler pack, hot/cold hose repair tape, and an instructional CD.

Fix Stix™

Fix anything... FAST! A hand-moldable, steel filled epoxy...stops leaks, fills holes and cracks and can be used as an adhesive. Conformable, safe and simple-to-use. Stops leaks, fill holes and cracks fast. Sets rock hard in 20 minutes in a wide range of temperatures. No hot work, measuring, or special tools required. Ready to use. Fix Stix™ is pre-measured, non-toxic, solvent free, with little odor. It can be used on potable water lines. Fix Stix™ will not shrink, crack or pull away and it has exceptional chemical resistance. Additionally, Fix Stix™ can be machined, threaded and painted after it has fully cured.

Fix Stix™ is a hand moldable, industrial strength, steel impregnated epoxy used to fill either holes or cracks, will bond and repair almost any pipe construction. The product cure is approximately 20 minutes, and the product works underwater and over a wide temperature range.

RiserRescue™ employs a rapid-setting proprietary polymer formulation that converts to a solid form within minutes and is fully cured within hours, allowing the product to be applied in a single platform visit.
